My Experiences After Software Engineering Bootcamp
The bootcamp you just graduated from is just the start of your journey. Come visit with Eric, a boot camp grad, and hear about his experiences transitioning from a career in education to a career in software engineering.
About our speaker: Eric Mast
Eric Mast is a Software Engineer for P&M Personal Injury Law Firm, a national law firm based out of Chicago. Before pursuing a career in software development, he spent twenty years in higher education (as Dr. Mast) teaching composition, literature, and managing tutoring centers and other student support services. Always a lover of technology and computer programming, he decided to make a career change during the pandemic. He attended Tech Elevator in Cincinnati to improve his familiarity with current trends in the industry. After completing Tech Elevator Cincinnati in Dec 2020 and continuing to learn .NET and EF Core afterwards, he eventually landed his current role at P&M where he continues to learn what he does and doesn’t know about .NET 6 and EF Core.

This session will feature more discussion on topics chosen the night of the meeting. The focus of the meeting will be to discuss issues of software architecture relevant to the members of the community.
