Microsoft Windows PowerShell is a new command line shell and scripting language which is built on top of, and extensively leverages, the .NET Framework. While PowerShell is strongly oriented towards improving efficiencies for system adminstrators, it can help developers, too. This session will discuss what PowerShell is and what Microsoft's goals are for it. It will also discuss the basics (Cmdlets, Variables, Providers, and Pipeline) as well as PowerShell extensibility.
This was presented at the April 17th, 2007 meeting by Nino Benvenuti
