Phil Japikse walked through testing ASP.NET MVC applications with us during our firestarter.

There are many benefits to the ASP.NET MVC framework, and one of the biggest is the testability. In this session you will learn to test your source code BDD style with MSpec and MbUnit, and use WatiN to certify the user interface.

MVC in Azure

Bill Steele from Microsoft presented using MVC on the Azure platform for our firestarter. While it could be considered an "advanced topic" this talk shows that MVC in the cloud is a possiblity. The download contains all the materials Bill used to produce his demonstration, including the Azure CTP SDK and training kit versions. There is also a hotfix that may be needed in order to run the demo included.

NOTE: Microsoft hasn't officially indicated MVC is supported on Azure at this time...but it works!

JQuery 101

Leon Gersing provided an introduction of jQuery. While not directly related to MVC the use of JavaScript is prevalent (omni-present?) in building web sites, including ASP.NET MVC sites. jQuery can make your life much easier and it's simple to incorporate into your ASP.NET MVC sites.
