    UPCOMING MEETINGS:

August CINNUG - Be a Better Developer - Mike Wood
    Tuesday, August 24th - 6:00PM; Social Time - 5:30PM - MAX Technical Training - Mason, OH

Mike Wood, one of the directors of CINNUG, will give a soft skills talk on how to Be a Better Developer.

As a developer you end up wearing a lot of different hats: researcher, designer, janitor, mediator, teacher, student... the list can go on.

If you want to become a better developer you'll have to learn how to switch these hats out easily and what it means to wear each one well.

Most talks often focus on a given technology or tool; some resource that you can use.  This talk focuses on how to improve the best resource you have: YOU.

The grok talk on Configuration Data and Dependencies will be given by Mike Levy.

    September BitSlingers
Monday, September 13th - 6:00PM- Panera Bread - Mason Montgomery - Mason, OH

This month BitSlingers will meet on the second Monday of the month due to the Labor Day holiday.

    What is BitSlingers?

This is an informal meetup of people interested in learning from one another. Bring your laptop and pair up with someone to work on an open source project, learn a new technique, or even dabble in a new language. There is no agenda or specific topic, just a time set aside for people to pair.

The meetup officially kicks off at 6:00PM, but lasts until the last pair breaks up, or they kick us out. Feel free to come and join us for as long, or as short, of a time as you want to.

NOTE: There will be no food provided, but hey, we're at Panera.
