CINNUG’s first “Special Event” this year is going to be a Silverlight Firestarter!
What’s a Firestarter? Firestarter events are designed to help spark your interest in a given software topic and teach you the basics. Jeff Blankenburg got these started with a similar event up in Cleveland last year. The goal is to take you from not knowing even how to get started with a tool/technology and get you up to speed. You won’t be an expert in Silverlight when you leave, but by the end of the day you will know how to get a project started, do data binding and communicate with server resources. If you know nothing about Silverlight and are interested in learning this event is for you.
The event is an all day event on Saturday, March 28th. We’ll hold the Firestarter at the Microsoft office on Mason, OH. Lunch will be provided. The event is free, but we do have a registration limit of 80 people. Please be sure to sign up if you can make it. If you later find that you can’t make it, be sure to cancel your registration to make room for others who may be interested.
