  • Code Camp Presentation Submission Deadline Extended

If you were one of the 70+ people who have downloaded the presentation submission form for the Code Camp but haven't gotten it to us yet, well, your deadline has just been extended to January 29th!  Now you'll be able to shake off the New Year Fog of Vacation and sort through all the holiday bills, as well as spend ten minutes to fill out the submission form and send it in.

  • Membership Drive - Join in and possibly win a ZUNE!

CINNUG is having a membership drive starting in December and lasting through our meeting in February.  At the end of the membership drive we will be giving away a new Microsoft Zune music player and possible even an Xbox 360!

    Here's how it works:

    • You must be a registered member of the www.cinnug.org website.  Registration is free!
    • For each meeting you attend (December, January and February) you will receive an entry into the drawing for the Zune.
    • For each new person you bring to a meeting (and they also register on the www.cinnug.org site) you will receive an additional entry for the Zune.  Once they have attended a meeting and signed up on the website they are no longer considered new, but if they come to another meeting bringing new people then they can increase their own odds.
    • On the normal signup sheet at the meetings there will be a new column to include who brought you (make sure you include the email address they use on the site!).
    • When signing in at the meetings you must include the exact email address used to sign up on the website in order for accurate record keeping of your entries.
    • No circular references allowed (aka, two new people can’t show up together and put that they were each referred by the other).
    • You must be present to win at the February meeting.

What about the Xbox360?  We have an attendance goal of 60 people for our February meeting.  If we reach that goal then we will give away an Xbox 360 in addition to the Zune!  The same entries used to pull the Zune winner would be used to get the Xbox 360 winner as well, so the more people you bring the better your chances of getting either prize.

If you have questions about the membership drive, then contact us.  The Xbox 360 and the Zune are being provided by our regional Developer Evangelist Drew Robbins.
