Job Description: Great Opportunity for the talented Visual Studio Application Developer! A unique, fast growing professional business in the Cincinnati area is adding to its team. The successful candidate will develop and maintain applications for the organization's systems using source controls and the established coding standards.
Responsibilities also include developing additional customized software in VB, COM+, SQL Server, and other tools, as well as Internet development using ASP / ASP.NET. Duties include, but are not limited to, gathering business process requirements, creating technical and functional design specifications, developing based on the designs, and performing quality assurance tests. This candidate is required to have a bachelor's-level degree or equivalent experience, two or more years experience in programming Visual Basic 6 or greater, and two or more years of relational database experience. Excellent personal management and problem solving skills are a must, as well as an ability to function well in a team environment. Specific skills desired include VB, SQL, COM+, ADO, HTML, ASP, .NET, Crystal Reports and/or Business Objects. Project management skills a plus.
