  • July 19th Meeting Annoucement

    Developing Mobile Applications with .NET Compact Framework 2.0 and SQL Mobile 2005

    The focus of this talk will be improvements in the .NET Compact Framework 2.0 and SQL Mobile 2005.  Additionally, highlights of changes for developers in the forthcoming Windows Mobile 5.0 platform will be discussed.  To compliment the discussion, code samples will be shown to further illustrate the changes from .NET Compact Framework 1.0 to 2.0 and SQL CE 2.0 to SQL Mobile 2005.
     
    Nino Benvenuti is a technology consultant with eight years experience, ranging from development and architecture of enterprise systems to mobility solutions.  He has worked with .NET since the early betas of v1.0 has focused on mobility solutions for the last several years.  He maintains a blog at http://nino.net/blogs/nino

    BTAS has an opportunity as a Test Manager in Dayton, OH. The job description is below.

    Test Manager: Candidate will have a full knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, experience in Software Testing, including test tools, and an understanding on how and when to use Test Automation products. Experience writing test plans and scripts in web-based or enterprise-based applications. Experience with Mercury Test Director, Loadrunner, Quick Test Pro, Rational Clear Quest and Rationale Suite strongly desired. Familiarity with DoD and the Air Force are a plus. Successful candidate must be able to obtain a National Agency Check (NAC) clearance.
