September 27th, 6pm at our monthly CINNUG meeting, we welcome Chad Green with "Secrets to Conflict Resolution"

One of the most challenging aspects of being a manager is dealing with conflict amongst your team. It’s vital to productivity to get the team running like a well-oiled machine, even in face of adversity. Improving your relationships with your coworkers, clients, and managers and find your way through conflict back to cooperation. This session will provide you with the secrets of effective conflict resolution and how to prevent conflicts from ever starting.

Bio - Chad Green is a manager, software developer, community leader, and most importantly a father and husband living in Louisville, KY. Most recently, Chad was the Service Delivery Manager responsible for the team that developed all of the line of business applicatsion for the Army ROTC. Over the years, Chad has worked on projects in several markets including military, government, workforce management, financial services, chemical research, and electronic commerce. One of the ways Chad has kept up with technology and development practices is by attending user groups and software development events throughout the country. Being a big believer in giving back and wanting to ensure that there are cool events for other software development professionals, Chad founded and chairs the annual Code PaLOUsa conference and organizes the Louisville .NET Meetup user group. Immediately following the main speaker and pizza we will be holding another CINARC (Cincinnati Software Architecture Group). This session will feature more discussion on topics chosen the night of the meeting. The focus of the meeting will be to discuss issues of software architecture relevant to the members of the community.
